ItzCash to deploy more point of sales terminals for larger digital acceptance network
Digital payments company ItzCash is planning to scale up its Point of Sales terminals in order to enable its merchants to accept digital payments through cards. Having already deployed 30,000 terminals post demonetisation, the company plans to scale it up to 1 lakh acceptance points.
The device which accepts all forms of cards and mobile wallets also enable the merchants using it to get a pre-approved loan of Rs 25,000 for working capital requirements.
“Post demonetisation, we have seen a massive behavioural change in the mind set of traditional brick and mortar retail merchants towards digital payment movement, with this initiative, we are aiming to digitise 1,00,000 small merchants and shopkeepers by leveraging our robust network of 75,000 outlets present across 3000 cities and towns across India,” said Ravi Singh, chief business officer at ItzCash.
The company said that the ItzCash PoS machine can produce electronic charge slip which allows customers to store electronic receipts directly on mobiles, captures digital signature and runs on GPRS/Wifi network. The company has further partnered with MRL Posnet as its PoS technology solution provider.
